More Fabric Coiled Bowls

We decided to try and make some more fabric coiled bowls and see how they sell. They are made with clothes line and strip of fabric leftover from other sewing projects. One of these bowls is made with some fabric that was misprinted. The green bowl was made with some strips of a plaid material that we have a lot of and don't particularly care for. I think they turned out pretty cute!

My Latest Box

I decided to repurpose a jewelry box from Boscovs the other day. So, I got out my Modge Podge and my box of fabric scraps. As you can see I decided to go with a mostly blue theme so I got out my bag of blue fabric scraps. This box came together pretty quickly (a few days) and I really like how it turned out.

Getting Ready for A Craft Show

Hello again blog readers! First of all I wanted to wish my US readers a Happy belated Thanksgiving. Hope you had a wonderful holiday. :) I have been busy getting ready for a craft show we are doing next weekend with a friend of my mom. I am contributing some yo-yo magnets and bags of cat toys. We will be selling our wares in Lancaster, Pa at the Eastern Market's Holiday City Arts Market on December 4th and 5th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. I am excited-Hope we do well.

Fabric Coiled Bowl

Christmas will be here before we know it so I decided that it was time to start working on some fun gifts. I have been meaning to try to make fabric coiled bowls for a while now. I finally roped my mom into attempting them with me-I don't know how to use a sewing machine yet. I will have to get my mom to teach me how some time. :) Until then we can just do collaborations. Blue Outlet Cover-WIP

I just wanted to share one of my many works in progress. I am using small pieces of blue designer fabric that were left over from making yo-yos. Of course I have no idea what I am doing with it as I don't have another outlet cover to make a match. (Yes, I know I am a bit insane.) But I still really like how it is turning out.

Yo-Yo Magnets

I make these using my smallest clover yo-yo maker, buttons, and fabric scraps. Sometimes I use small scraps from other projects or else I use fabric from decorator's samples books. And then I repurpose even more by using used canning jar lids to hold sets of 5.

Long time no blog...

Hello Readers! :) It sure has been a while since my last blog post. I have been busy enjoying my summer. I hope all of you are enjoying your summer as well. Door Hanger Cat Toys

I finished these and the maple tree coasters just in time for Artsfest. They will be at The HodgePodgery's stand which will be right by the Walnut St Bridge in the free part. :)

Cat Toys On Sticks

The Cat Toy on A Stick is made from hand carved and hand sanded sticks, catnip toys made with fabric scraps, and elastic. I came up these as an alternative to the similar cat toys you find like these at pet stores on plastic sticks. These are a lot more eco-friendly too. Happy Earth Day! :)
